Description

The Constitutive Androstane Receptor (CAR) is a nuclear receptor and functions as a sensor for xenobiotics. It regulates transcription of genes encoding proteins in metabolism and excretion of xenobiotics. Proteins on this pathway have targeted assays available via the CPTAC Assay Portal
